Violence Prevention & Intervention Program (VPIP)

Violence Prevention & Intervention Program (VPIP) provides case management, mental health, and/or group services for children, youth, and families in the targeted neighborhoods with the goal of mitigating the negative effects of exposure to violence, trauma and/or reunification, and acculturation issues so that participants are able to recover from trauma, develop healthy relationships, and avoid negative behaviors in the future.

Eligibility

Children and youth exposed to violence (domestic violence, community violence, abuse/assault survivor, or other traumatic event); and families experiencing conflict due to reunification. Services areas currently include: Herndon, Culmore and Annandale in Fairfax County

Client or worker can call program directly for information and intake.
