Thanks to you, Gifting for Families was able to bring some extra holiday cheer to nearly 2,000 children in Northern Virginia this year. Whether you donated, volunteered, or organized a toy drive, we couldn't have done it without you - and we are thrilled that so many families will have a brighter holiday season.
Interested in staying involved? Here's how you can help next year:
Monetary contributions and online donations help us the most. Your early donation will enable us to purchase gift cards and distribute them to our clients before the holidays so that they may use them for holiday meals and basic necessities.
A suggested toy list is provided for your convenience. New toys for children of all ages are needed to stock our Toy Closet. (If possible, please shop for infants/toddlers or teens, as these age groups can be overlooked.)
|Toy drop-off dates and times:
Friday, Dec. 11: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 14: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 15: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Volunteers are needed December 11-18 to receive, sort and categorize gifts by age group, and assist case managers as they "shop" for toys for their clients. To sign up for a shift, please register online at VolunteerSpot. For more information, please contact Navara Cannon at email@example.com or 571.748.2536.

Gifts Cards in suggested multiples of $25 are also appreciated. Target and Wal-Mart gift cards provide the most flexibility for our clients who can use them for food, necessities, and clothing or holiday purchases. Supermarket gift cards are also accepted.
Gift cards and donations paid by check (please make payable to "NVFS" and indicate "Holiday Programs" in the Memo Line) should be delivered before Thursday, December 11 to
