Last year, the Hispanic Committee served more than 18,000 people.
As of July 1, 2012, the programs and operations of the Hispanic Committee of Virginia (or Comité Hispano) have been merged with Northern Virginia Family Service. Ongoing work with existing clients, and new client intake will continue without any substantive changes. Clients, case managers and referring agencies can continue to reach out to the Committee in the exact same ways as before.
Referring agencies and prospective clients are encouraged to continue to reach out to former staff of HCVA, a large number of whom have continued their work with NVFS.
The staff of the Committee can still be reached at:
And at their offices:

Arlington, VA 22201
In the coming months, we will be working to offer additional services and better integration between all of our available programs to this new client population. Thank you for working with us to ensure a successful transition, and for keeping the needs of our clients and the community at large at the forefront of our shared efforts.
