Gifting for Families: Collecting Toys for Children in Northern Virginia
Help make the holiday season brighter as we distribute more than 2,000 toys to children and their families in Northern Virginia. Whether you donate, volunteer, or organize a toy drive, it can’t happen without you.

1. DONATE FUNDS ▼
Your donation enables us to purchase toys and gift cards, as well as grocery store gift cards for our client families to use for holiday meals and basic necessities. Donate
2. Team fundraising ▼
Create your own online team fundraising page for your office or community group! You can track engagement as individuals can make online donations on your organization’s own page and they can even share the fundraising page with their networks for additional support. Financial contributions are greatly appreciated and enable us to ensure that each family’s requests are fulfilled.

Note: When using Google Maps to navigate to the address above, it will direct you to the building’s front entrance. However, please follow the directions on the below map to reach the unloading area. You can park in the area right before entering the parking garage. You will see our NVFS sign and orange parking cones. Then enter the building through the covered and accessible sidewalk breezeway. Please come inside the building to check in at suite 100 on the main level (look for the NVFS Toy Drive sign outside of the suite). We will have volunteers on site to come back out to your car with you unload. If you have any questions or trouble finding the location, please call us at 571-748-2672.

Purchase some of the yearly favorite toys or gift cards off of our Holiday Giving Amazon Wish List. It’s a fast, easy, and convenient way to spread the seasonal cheer!
5. donate gift cards ▼
Teen gifts are often the items we need most. Gift cards in suggested multiples of $25 make great gifts for teens. We suggest Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Visa gift cards.
Supermarket gift cards are also gratefully appreciated for our families to use for holiday meal purchases. Giant Foods is recommended.

Please note, should contributions to the NVFS Holiday Giving program exceed our budgeted need, gifts will be directed to where they are needed most to help children and families living in poverty throughout Northern Virginia.
