Become a Community Sustainer

Your monthly support will help provide life-changing services to nearly 30,000 individuals and families in our community.

Community Sustainers make a monthly investment in the work of NVFS. As a Community Sustainer, you have the option to choose one of several Mission Initiatives to support.

FAMILY HOPE FUND

Your gift to the Family Hope Fund will be used to support our work throughout Northern Virginia. Each gift to this fund will be used to support our current area of greatest need.


EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

These programs provide one-time, short-term or temporary assistance that helps families maintain self-sufficiency.


SAFE & STABLE HOUSING

Our housing programs provide a continuum of housing services, including case management, life skills and financial literacy education, designed to assist families with achieving permanent, safe and affordable housing.


HEALTH ACCESS

Health Access programs give clients access to comprehensive and holistic health care which includes free or reduced cost medical, dental, medication and mental health services.


CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAMS

NVFS has a variety of child-centered programs that provide services and interventions to support the healthy development of children from birth through early adulthood.


WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

These programs provide training, mentoring and case management that enable clients to enter into or advance within the workforce, increase wages and support their long term self-sufficiency and educational advancement.
