The Bridging Affordability (BA) program is a rental assistance program funded by Fairfax County and administered by Northern Virginia Family Service. The program is an integral component of the county’s Housing Blueprint and provides up to 24 months of rental subsidies to homeless individuals/families and households on the county’s affordable housing waiting lists. The BA Collaborative of nine area agencies delivers wrap-around case management services and strives to serve the most needy in the community with an emphasis on the homeless and disabled.

The Bridging Affordability Collaborative include Alternative House, FACETS, Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services, New Hope Housing, Reston Interfaith, Shelter House, United Community Ministries, Volunteers of America - Baileys Crossroads with NVFS as the administering agent.

Additional Community Partners include Brain Injury Services, Kurdish Human Rights Watch, Family PASS and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board.
