SERVE, a Program of NVFS to Benefit from Lou Maroon Golf Tournament

Manassas and Bull Run Rotary Clubs to host annual charity golf tournament and donate proceeds to Northern Virginia Family Service and its SERVE Program.

OAKTON, VA—June 15, 2010— We are excited to announce that we have joined forces with Manassas and Bull Run Rotary Clubs to put on this year’s Lou Maroon Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place on September 15th at Piedmont Club in Haymarket, VA. Sponsorships to this prestigious tournament are available for a limited time.

Proceeds from this tournament will benefit NVFS, our programs at SERVE in Manassas, and a Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year’s tournament will be the 17th annual occurrence. Lou Maroon was a long time Manassas resident and member of the school board as well as a Rotarian. After his death, his Rotary friends began an effort to commemorate his life and fund scholarships for qualifying seniors from each of the four local high schools.

Don’t miss what we hope will be Virginia’s premier charity golf tournament. Pledge your company’s support today. Sponsorship details and ticket information is available online at www.nvfs.org.
