Applicant Eligibility

• Meet low-income guidelines.
• Must be age 18 years and older
• Must be employed for the past 3 months, working a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Must be a parent, or must have legal custody of children under 18
• Must be a resident of Northern Virginia
• Must register for the Commuter Connections Program (commuterconnnections.org)

Please note, this service is provided once during a 12 month period.  The maximum grant size will be $750 and the assistance will not exceed 20% of the market value of the vehicle or $750, whichever is less.
