Family Service (NVFS) will recognize local companies
that provide family friendly workplace policies
and benefits at the 13th Annual CARE (Companies
As Responsive Employers) Awards Breakfast on
Nov. 17 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.
The
2005 CARE Award finalists are:
Small
Company: Military Officers Association of America,
Vanguard Research and West*Group;
Mid-Size
Company: WETA and the CNA Corporation; and
Large
Size Company: George Mason University and Sallie
Mae.

their outstanding dedication to their employees.
Through their policies and benefits, these companies
allow employees to maintain a balance between
office and home life. In turn, the Northern
Virginia community becomes a better place to

of the benefits offered by the finalists include

banking discounts, interest-free computer loan

1992, the CARE Awards have identified the best
places to work in Northern Virginia. The program
was established to recognize companies that
are leaders in providing family-friendly benefits
for employees and that are committed to helping
employees maintain a healthy work and life balance.
