NVFS Welcomes Local Leaders to Board
Organization Continues the Promise to be a Source for Families in Northern Virginia

Oakton, VA, July 19, 2007- Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), an organization deeply devoted to serving families and children, announced the recent addition of local leaders to its Board of Directors, and the appointment of a new Board Chair. The new members were elected at the annual board meeting in June and will serve a three-year term.

Joining the Board are John Allen of BB&T Capital Markets/ Windsor Group, and Roberta Gosling of Booz Allen Hamilton. Terry McCallister, President & Chief Operating Officer of WGL Holdings, Inc, the parent company of Washington Gas, has been elected as the Board Chair. Mr. McCallister is an active leader in the natural gas industry, and has been involved in several charities in the DC Metro area, including NVFS.

Other corporations represented on the Board include Freddie Mac, Booz Allen Hamilton, The Washington Post, and USA Today, among others.

“We are thrilled to welcome our new Board Chair as well as our new members of the Board of Directors. They bring to NVFS a wealth of expertise and an enduring sense of commitment to the families of Northern Virginia,” said Mary B. Agee, NVFS president and CEO. “With a group of such powerful leaders, I am confident that we will be able to continue to provide an unsurpassed level of support for our clients.”
