Ready to become a volunteer?

All interested volunteers must begin by taking the online NVFS Volunteer Orientation. Once you complete this brief orientation, please follow the steps to answer and submit the Volunteer Inquiry form. From there you will be able to download our Volunteer Application and request an appointment to meet in-person with one of our Volunteer Coordinators.

We could not do it without our volunteers.

"Each year, we rely on thousands of volunteer hours to help address the critical needs of vulnerable children and families in our community. Our work and the lives of our clients are enriched by each individual and company that contributes their time to our cause," Mary Agee, President and CEO of NVFS

This past year over 2,000 volunteers donated 63,463 hours of service to NVFS at a value of over $1.5 million

Our volunteers play an integral role in helping us provide hope for the families we serve. Not only do we need the helping hands, but we also want volunteering to be a meaningful experience for our volunteers.

NVFS offers you a chance to give back, connect with your community, and answer the call of service. Together, we can move from good intentions into greater social outcomes.
