Thank you for your interest in supporting the 2024 Fall Food Drive. This year’s Food Drive will take place in Manassas between October 21- 25, 2024. Please check back in September for more information.

Thank you for providing 14,667 pounds of food at last year’s Fall Food Drive! NVFS’ Fall Food Drive helps us to stock the shelves at our Hunger Resource Center (HRC) and meet the increase in demand for food that we have been experiencing since emergency SNAP benefits ended last spring. Nearly 400 families per month rely on regular support from the HRC resulting in a distribution of 46,322 pounds of food per month.

Most requested food donations:
Canned fruit, applesauce, canned vegetables, canned meat & fish, canned potatoes, beans and lentils, soup, broth and stock, pasta sauce, pasta, rice, coffee and tea, one-box meals (like Hamburger Helper), peanut butter, jelly, cereal, oatmeal, pre-made baking mix, flour, sugar, shelf-stable milk, cooking oil and spray. Gluten-free, low-sodium, and low-sugar items always needed!
