Companies As Responsive Employers (CARE) Awards Honor 17 Regional  Businesses for Exceptional Workplace Culture and Community Impact

FALLS CHURCH, VA [December 2, 2025] – Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) proudly celebrated 17 outstanding regional employers at the 2025 CARE (Companies As Responsive Employers) Awards, held Thursday, November 20, at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. The annual event recognized organizations that exemplify excellence in employee engagement, community stewardship, and family-friendly workplace practices across the Greater Washington region.

Since 1992, the CARE Awards have honored businesses that go beyond profit to prioritize their people—creating flexible and community-minded workplaces that strengthen both their organizations and the region as a whole.

“For more than 30 years, the CARE Awards have celebrated companies that invest in their people,” said Stephanie Berkowitz, president and CEO of Northern Virginia Family Services. “This year’s 17 CARE Award winners exemplify what it means to build workplaces where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired. Their commitment to health and wellness doesn’t just strengthen their companies—it strengthens our entire region. NVFS is proud to honor these leaders who show that when we care for employees, we build stronger communities for everyone.”
