For the eighth year, our SERVE campus welcomed AOL staff members for their annual Monster Help Day. This year’s amazing team did a very deep and thorough cleaning of the kitchen in our 92-bed family shelter. Not only did the volunteers clean every surface and appliance and steam-clean the floor, they also put a much-needed fresh coat of paint on the walls! The kitchen is cleaned daily by staff, but it gets so much use that regular deep cleanings are essential for the health and well-being of those experiencing homelessness.
