The NVFS Thrift Shop is a special program of NVFS which helps support all of the impactful work we do across the Northern Virginia region. We offer you the perfect opportunity to help your neighbors by taking your generous donations and then re-sell them at low cost to the broader community.
We offer unique quality goods to clients of all kinds, whether you are a thrifter, a collector, or a savvy shopper who’s in the market looking for a new piece of art, handbag, accent piece or home essential for your space. Donation Acceptance
Store Donations and Guidelines
Donations will only be accepted at the Donations Door located at the rear of the store.
Due to limited staff capacity, we partner with ReSupply for donors seeking at home pick up of items. ReSupply will pick up at your convenience and bring your donated items directly to the NVFS Thrift Shop for a fee. (NOTE: NVFS is not involved in determining the rates charged and all fees remain with ReSupply). Click the button below to schedule a pick up or request a free quote.

Volunteer Opportunities
For individual and group store volunteer opportunities, please email sweinstein@nvfs.org with your inquiry. All volunteers will need to be oriented and approved ahead of time as we have limited store volunteer opportunities.
Health & Wellness
The health and safety of our customers, volunteers, and staff will always be NVFS’ top priority. While no longer required, face coverings are permitted to be worn by those who choose to do so while in the store. We continue to maintain our daily cleaning measures and encourage social distancing throughout our store. Management reserves the right to limit the number of shoppers or volunteers at any time due to occupancy limits or safety concern.
Pop-Up Shop Event
